1. Acceptance

These terms govern your use of awakeninggamesentertainment.com, operated by Awakening Games Entertainment Inc. ("AGE", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Use of the site

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to attempt to disrupt the site, access it by automated means that place unreasonable load on it, probe or bypass its security, or use it to transmit unlawful, misleading or infringing material.

3. Enquiries and pitch submissions

When you send us a build, pitch, prototype or other material, you keep all ownership of it. You grant us only the limited permission needed to review, play and internally discuss your submission so we can evaluate a possible partnership.

Please do not send confidential material expecting confidentiality obligations we have not agreed to in writing. We review many projects, and similar ideas reach us independently; nothing in a review creates an obligation to compensate you for concepts we develop separately.

You confirm that you have the right to send us what you submit, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

4. Publishing terms are separate

Information on this site about our publishing model — including the flat 10% publishing fee and our position on IP ownership — describes how we normally work. It is not an offer, and it does not create a publishing agreement.

A partnership exists only when both parties sign a written agreement. That agreement, not this website, sets the binding commercial terms.

5. Our intellectual property

The site, our logos, brand names, page copy and original artwork are owned by AGE or used with permission. Game screenshots, store assets and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners. You may not copy or reuse our branding or content commercially without written permission.

6. Third-party services and links

The site links to third-party services such as Steam and Creator Animation. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.

7. Availability

We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend or remove parts of the site at any time, and content may become out of date.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AGE is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this website, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
